Meet Your Hosts In 2010, Daniel and JoAnna Jimenez purchased the Lake Morton Bed and Breakfast from the inn’s founders and longtime owners Bryce and Mary Ann Zender. The couple met and married in Orlando before relocating to Lakeland with their infant son, Lucas. JoAnna grew up in the home next door to the bed and breakfast where her parents still live. She attended Valdosta State College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in television production. Daniel received an undergraduate degree in advertising from Florida International University and a graduate degree in journalism from the University of Florida.
