We  hope that every person, entering Lake Morton B & B as a guest, leaves as a friend.

OUR GUESTS SHARE INTERESTING FACETS OF THEIR LIVES
A Fantastic Work of Art in Atlanta
Mary Ann, the artist, & relative in front of the mosaic art
After fifteen years in the B & B,  interacting
with thousands of  people,  Mary Ann and I
learned that every guest has an  interesting
story to tell.  Our aim here is  to share with you
a few photos of  these guests & their stories.
We hope that these narratives will enrich your
life as they have ours.   Incidentally, these
photos were submitted by former guests and
   we welcome  your future submissions.

On the left, the  photo  displays the artistic
work of a  guest who created a lovely mosaic
on the back of her house.  She first described
her art to Mary Ann over breakfast.  Later she
insisted that we stop and see firsthand her tile
creation.  When we were in Atlanta, we were
amazed to see her beautiful tiled creation

LAKE MORTON  B & B: A HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR VISITING FAMILIES
Lake Morton Bed & Breakfast  frequently becomes a "home away from home" for families visiting Lakeland for  weddings, funerals & family reunions.   Our inn hosted the out of town bride,
shown in the photo on the right.  The parents and
grandparent of another bride are featured in the
photo below
.

Just as other visiting families, this bride  and her family enjoyed Mary Ann's personal touch
in helping with their plans and preparations.
LAKE MORTON  B & B BECOMES A HAVEN FOR SNOWBIRDS  EVERY WINTER
The Hemingway look alike in the photo is really
a snowbird from Michigan who stays at the inn
during the winter.  Incidentally, he plans to travel
to the Keys & participate in the annual look alike
Hemingway contest.  As the photo indicates, he
also enjoys a friendly hand of cards with Bryce

Starting in November and ending in April, many of our guests arrive from cold northern states in order to enjoy some Florida sunshine. Besides
relaxing in the sun, snowbirds can participate in
activities ranging from watching winter baseball
playing golf on award winning courses.
