Welcome to the lovely Lake Morton Bed & Breakfast, located in a quaint historic district nearby Lake Morton, a bird and nature sanctuary in the heart of Lakeland.  Walk only yards and you can view elegant swans gliding gracefully on a very beautiful lake.  Continue on a few blocks to stately Hollis Gardens and the downtown area with its restaurants and shops.

If great architecture interests you, then stroll three blocks to Florida Southern College. There you will stand amid the world's largest collection of buildings designed by the great American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. His grand designs are still futuristic, though built years ago.

The area also has many historic bungalows lovingly restored by their owners.  The buildings designed by Wright and the homes restored by regular folks are a unique architectural legacy for you to enjoy while walking in the neighborhood.

After exploring these attractions, rest and relax in your choice of four suites of rooms.  In each, you will find an eclectic decor with beautiful antiques and modern furnishings.  But you won't find antique beds with small mattresses.  In every suite, you will find modern queen size beds with luxurious sheets and comforters.

For your total comfort and ease, each suite has its very own private bath, living room, bedroom, and kitchen.  All four suites have cable TV, wireless Internet, heating and cooling system.  To insure your privacy, each suite has its own private entrance.

These four suites are like cozy one bedroom apartments.  They were described in the state's largest newspaper as follows:

...so charming guests might not want to leave their rooms.
